Therapist: Regarding bipedalism, the ability for a species to walk on two legs,
the question is, ' Was that an important evolutionary step?' Do you have any
comments on that?
Zetas: Many life forms are
bipedal. With the beginning of standing upright and the development of tools,
in a way, your species is an allegory of our species. In our evolution, we
originated from a varied life form that might be considered more bird-like. We
were creatures with multiple origins, not uniquely bird-like, but with some bird-like characteristics. These bird-like characteristics
faded, and we became more the humanoid creature that you see presently before
you. Part of our evolution was to stand upright, as your evolution from
primates directed you to stand upright.
Therapist: So the usefulness of bipedalism was primarily to enable the creation
of tools?
Zetas: Actualizing the forehands
or forelegs to become arms and hands enables the creation tools. These
developments are part of the process for the development of technology. Many
humanoids developed these characteristics on their own. The person you know as
Darwin, with his theory of natural selection, identified the pattern for the
development of advanced species. In the process of intelligent selection, this
created the basis from which your civilization and our civilization developed
independently over time.
Therapist: Concerning the human species and our brain, I understand that we only
use about 10 per cent of our brain. I don’t know if that is accurate, or it is
simply that the other part of our brain is used in ways that we don’t
understand. Do you have any knowledge about that?
Zetas: The human brain is still
evolving and developing. It has great potential. There are very short life
spans for many life forms on your planet. That creates a more rapid process of development
and adaptation. As your species evolves, your minds are also of interest
because we can see the potential that you perhaps do not yet grasp. Our ability
to communicate telepathically is a latent ability that you do not yet know you
possess. It can usually only be activated in our presence (or among other
telepathic beings). That is why many humans are astonished that they can
communicate telepathically with us. However, between humans, you are generally
unable to do so. The potential for such communication is already there, but
humans do not yet understand their abilities. Telepathy between us and other
advanced species is the link that joins thoughts across the Universe. What results is, on a very basic level, an accord of
attitudes. Additionally, there is a concurrence of consciousness.
Therapist: Concerning our DNA, do we have any DNA in common with your species?
Zetas: DNA is a combination of a
number of compounds in the right combination. Much of our DNA has similar
pattern arrangements as your species does. We are not too dissimilar, and there
may be some long past origin between our species. The human combination is
unique and extraordinary.
Therapist: There is a question about what the human species might look like in
10,000 years. Just projecting out, can you see some physical adaptations that
might take place over roughly 10,000 years, if you assume that the current rate
of change is constant?
Zetas: Ten thousand years in
Earth time is a not too distant future to project. Humans would probably be
taller or smaller, depending on the availability of food sources and their
diet. There will probably be less body hair and larger heads. Their bodies will
become slimmer.
In the development of
space travel, this will begin to accelerate many changes in the human species
as evolution begins to adapt the human body to a weightless environment. Right
now, it has challenges adapting because technology moves faster than evolution
can accommodate. In time, bodies will become taller, slimmer, more delicate,
and not too dissimilar from our appearance, which was also affected by space
travel.
